Travel Around Brazil

There are many hotel booking agencies to Rio de Janeiro, specially online. The one I have been recommending, simply due to low-cost nightly discounts is RioCharm, present inside the Rio For Partiers website. They have lodging in Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon, Barra and around Rio. They also set up vacation packages around Brazil, to places like Salvador, Foz de Iguacu and Manaus.

It wasn’t the first time I had feijoada, but it surely was the tastiest one I’ve eaten! I went over to Casa da Feijoada on my last stay in Rio due to a recommendation from this huge fat funny guy staying at my hostel, it was a sure pick. Apparently the place is a famous and traditional place to eat feijoada, so I was in the right track. Service was good, the food was amazingly tasty and I thank god for the experience. Have a nice time there, but don’t miss it! Check here!

Brazilians are known for being party people. I was amazed at how festive they are. A local friend took me to this really fun place called Casa Rosa. I had such a great time. It was a samba night and the place is so layed back. A lot of people just playing pool and hanging around while another bunch of people played “chorinho” and old sambas. This place is amazing, I only went there for a quick snack lunch but I couldn’t wait to get back for a real full dish. In fact I did get to go back there once more before I left Rio. Via Sete has a organic menu that made me wish I had discovered the restaurant earlier in my trip. I had a fish falafel with yogurt dressing that was to-die-for. Their juices are also very tasty cause they use all on organic fruit. Juices are great up north, but down in tropical Rio paradise you’ll get the tastiest fruits you’ve ever had. Just go there! Cool place to meet locals, enjoy good electronic music and simply have fun. I went there on my first night in Rio. It’s a very busy , mixture of lounge and club, and it spans over two floors. On the first floor, you’ll find the pulsing dancefloor and bar, while on the second floor there’s a chill out lounge for private talking and all. I had a great night. The drinks are fabulous but not so cheap. I’d say this is a sophisticated club for sophisticated people that are into electro and house! Chech it out here. And here…

I don’t know what I’d do if I hadn’t rushed to Amaderm for a treatment. I was out on a trail and I just got the hives or something! My skin was covered with huge red eruptions and spots. I looked horrible and it felt as if my whole body itched! I am so thankful to all of them! Service is great. All my best ratings! More info…
